Sprouts Division: Ages 2-12

General Information & Registration
Registrations will be accepted from May 1 through June 15.
Ten Sprout spots and ten Senior spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If the 20 spots are not filled by June 15, applicants who have already qualified for the State Fair will be considered in the order their applications are received.
Music
A Clavinova will be provided by Sturgis Falls upon request. If you plan to use recorded music, please follow the guidelines outlined in the Talent Search Rules page on their official webpage. All recordings must be clearly marked with the performer’s name to ensure smooth handling by the sound booth. Microphones and music stands will be supplied by the Production Company.
Where To Go
5:45 PM: Registration begins at the Overman Park Band Shell
6:30 PM: Sprout Division performances start.
The Sprout Division will perform first, followed immediately by the Senior Division. Judges will select winners from both divisions, and winners will be announced the same evening. The entire show, including time for judging deliberation, typically lasts about two hours.
First-place winners will be invited to:
- Ride in the Sturgis Falls Parade on Saturday morning.
- Perform again on the Overman Park Band Shell Stage at approximately 1:00 PM. Please arrive by 12:45 PM.
