Scholarship
The Sturgis Falls Entertainment Group is proud to invest in the future of our community by offering a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving high school senior. This scholarship is designed to support students from the metropolitan area in pursuing higher education at an accredited college, university, or trade school.
Eligibility
To qualify for SFEG Scholarship, Applicants must:
- Be a Senior in High School
- Reside within Black Hawk County, IA
- Maintain a GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale
Scholarship Use
Scholarship Award of $1,000 can be used to cover:
- Tuition
- Supplies
- Room and Board
- Other Educational Costs
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following materials:
A 500-word essay relating the student’s goals and aspirations to the spirit of the Sturgis Falls Celebration. Essays must be double-spaced, in a 12-point font, and demonstrate excellent sentence structure and spelling, and grammar.
An official copy of your current transcript.
A list of activities and work experience.
